Please review our full warranty policy prior to submitting your warranty claim.
Borealis Bikes (The Fat Bike Company) will repair or replace, at its option, any frame it determines to be defective due to defective materials and/or workmanship. The limited LIFETIME warranty is conditioned upon the bicycle being ridden under normal conditions and having been properly maintained. This warranty does not apply to the components attached to the frameset such as suspension components, wheels, drive train, brakes, suspension fork, seat post, handlebar and stem those components are covered by the respective manufacturer and any warranty issues should go through that company. Any Borealis / Turnagain components (Hubs, rims, Handlebars, Seat posts, etc.) are covered by a limited 1 year warranty, under the same conditions as a frame. This warranty applies only to the original owner and is non-transferable. This warranty is void if the bicycle was not properly assembled by an authorized Borealis dealer or qualified bike mechanic.
FRAME AND FORK PURHCASES MADE BEFORE JANUARY 1, 2023 HAVE A 5-YEAR WARRANTY WITH THE SAME LIMITATIONS.
These limited warranties do not apply to normal wear and tear, nor to claimed defects, malfunctions or failures that result from abuse, neglect, improper assembly, improper maintenance, alteration, collision, crash or misuse. The original owner shall pay all labor charges connected with the repair or removal of all components. The limited warranty does not include the cost of travel or shipment to and from an authorized Borealis dealer or the cost of labor at the shop making the repairs/ replacements. For complete bicycles you must have a copy of your receipt showing that you are the original owner.
Do you need to file a warranty claim for your Borealis Fat Bikes?
To expedite the process, we ask that you have the following information readily available:
✔ The serial numbers off the bottom of your frame.
✔ Your general information, including name, address and phone number.
✔ The name and zip code of the shop/dealer where you purchased your bike.
✔ A digital copy of your receipt – either a scanned copy of a photo from your phone.
*Warranty only applies to original owner.
✔ Pictures of the whole bike and damage that has occured.
