Customer Reviews
I have the carbon version and wanted a second set. Very good quality for the money . Easily setup for tubeless.
Needed an affordable, durable fatty upgrade and this set fit the bill perfectly. Bonus points for being the absolute easiest tubeless install ever!
What a beautiful set of wheels! Took a little more tire sealant than planned to get the rims to stop pushing air out the nipples but in the end we sealed up no problem!
Super light and very well assembled. Haven’t ridden them much yet this season, no snow but the fit and finish is stellar. Borealis Hubs spin nicely and feel very well made.
This was a great sale, and we have always loved HED wheels, so we couldn’t pass them up!!
These are my first set of HED rims. So far they were really easy to mount tires on (Gnarwall's) and look like they're holding pressure (Tubeless). The free hub has a nice dull ratchet sound and feels like a very narrow engagement. So far I'm really happy with them. My one and only complaint was the use of chrome (Brass) nipples and 2.0 gauge spokes. I'll replace them later with some Competition DT Swiss spokes and alloy nipples. It's still a great deal!
